Thieves take expensive TV, sporting goods

Evidently some people couldn't wait for Black Friday.

According to Salina police reports, a 50-inch plasma TV valued at $3,000 was stolen Thursday night from a home in the 300 block of Gail Drive. A basement window was broken.

The night before $1,600 worth of sporting goods -- golf clubs, softball bats, gloves -- as well as an XM radio and an air mattress were stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Second Street.
